The above screen represents an alternative version for a proposed website homepage design for my client Chinese Culture Connection (CCC). The oriental floral fabric pattern used in the background of this design suggests the delicate artistry and poetic beauty of the Chinese culture. The central image of a mentor (Executive Director Mei Hung) teaching children how to paint implies CCC's educational value to its community. The image of children painting Chinese flowers ties into the floral pattern abstractions, implying that the children-- the lifeblood of CCC-- continues to paint the future of the Chinese culture through their preservation of its traditions.
