The above screen represents the REVISED version of a proposed website homepage design for my client Chinese Culture Connection (CCC). By depicting images of the youth that CCC educates and inspires, I reinforce the CCC tagline: "Discovering China Through its Arts and People." The intimate, cropped-in photographic collage treatment conveys a sense of dynamic energy that expresses CCC's youthful and engaging brand image. The series of photos used suggest the variety of programs offered.
*Please NOTE that per the feedback I received, I made the background color brighter red and extended the color to the entire page to make the site richer and warmer-looking. The navigation bar's background is now gold. In general, I used more reds and golds since they are the colors often associated with the Chinese culture. I also added another collage item-- the Chinese girl at the center because her direct look at the audience is striking and her hand outreached implies the "hand" of CCC reaching out to bridge the East and West. I also extended the length of the painting class photo so that it's more obvious that it's an educational class.
