My Role: Freelance Designer

Comments: I conceptualized, illustrated and designed this publicity poster design promoting Babson College's Wintersession social events. Since Babson's mascot is a beaver, I illustrated a beaver taking a BITE out of winter in order to play up the client's theme of "Cold Days, Hot Nights." In my concept of "bite", I am referring to both the biting cold of winter and the beaver bite, hence, if a beaver takes the bite out of cold winter nights, you get hot nights. In this poster, you may note that the word "bite" and "winter" looks as if it has been bitten by the beaver. The illustration of trees and ice-rink/coffee cup are created in icy blues, silvery whites (the Babson school color) and peppermint pinks to capture the festive spirit of winter in an abstract style.
